Burial Arrangement

Burial arrangement do not have to made after your you or your love one has pass on. It is a good idea to go ahead and plan this day. Alot of people do not like to even talk about it. But is it something we all have to do one day or another. So take some of the burden off of your love one and have this done. Some funeral homes offer different plans for burial. For instance, if you want a certian type of casket, how long you want to stay out before the burial day. Some people can only be held out for a number of days. White american cannot be held out for a long period of time (3 to 4 days) where as an African american can be held out a longer period of time (7 to 10 days). This will depend on the condition of your body at the tiem of death. Most african american funerals is larger, the family want limisouine to carry to family members to the church, to the cemetary and back home. There are obituaries that is given out the family members and friends, which includes the program of the funeral services. The flowers and cards which come from other friends perhaps who was unable to attend the services are read out during the services. This is alot for someone who is in sympathy to get together for a burial arrangement. When you decide which funeral home you would like to handle your burial arrangement set up an appointment with them to start working on your arrangement. Keep a copy of this for any changes you can have them with you. Also, if you are marry your spouse should be included in this burial arrangement to keep any confusion from arriving later. Also you can have this approved by a lawyer if you have a will in place put this information in your will. You may want to even send a copy to your insurance company and/or place this with your insurance policy. Remember whatever you choose and decide to change you will need to go over this same
procedure again.
